Finn

Finn is getting bigger.  Not that you could tell from these first photos.  Elliott took both the first two.  I acutally love the first one- it is one of the rare few of me with Finn.

Finn has really enjoyed being on his tummy.  He is definitely going to be a crawler (Elliott never learned how).  He is getting so cute.

Elliott

Elliott is an awesome swimmer- and his teacher is so nice to him (probably helps that glen is her boss).  EJ feels really good about what is learning and doing in the pool and here is shows.

Elliott is also taking music lessons.  He loves this more than either of us thought and he can hardly wait to go each week.  His teacher Todd, is a great teacher and it feels like they are on a roll.
Elliott told me last week that he can't concentrate on CARS anymore, because he loves Spiderman so much.  As a result he wears his costume as much as he can.  Isn't that great?!
And though this is an odd pic, it clearly caputures for me Elliott's growth sinse Finn was born.  Previous to that, he wouldn't have walked this ridge alone.  Although I feel sad that I have less time to be with him, we are so proud that he feels this confident and independant now.

swimming!

Elliott is a star at swimming lessons.  This is new for him, he has been very hesitant to go with a teacher in the past.  So along with all this 4 year old, big brother confidence, he has started lessons and I am SO proud.  I am the only beaming mother on the side.  I must look rediculous but it feels very momentous for me.  And he loves it.  What could be better.

Boys

Glen and I can't believe how cute our boys are and how much we love them.

Late summer

The days are a changing here in the Loops, chilly nights and warm days.  I have to say that I LOVE it.  Even Finn feels better and happier.  Here are the last couple of weeks:

The kids never say NO, even if they don't have bathing suits.  Elliott and Alivia are nuddy lovers.  And maybe love each other too... First love when you are 4?
Later in the day, after a busy day, the kids share a bath. They requested bathing together... parent supervised OF COURSE.
Finn and I've been trying to spend a little time each day outside on the grass.  As you can see, he loves it!
Elliott throwing rocks into the river this Friday.  This is where the Thompson River's meet.  Quite lovely.

MS bike tour

As I've mentioned before, we have an amazing support system (who are really wonderful friends) and yesterday we came together for the MS bike tour.  Together we raised $1500 and had a lot of fun.  Elliott bike 12 km!!! and we all finished with enthusiasm.  We won a team bowling prize because we had a lot of spirit.
Thank you to everyone who donated- it is very appreciated.  See you all at the the bike ride next Sept!
