I just had to include this photograph. Not only is it a lovely scene, but there's so much anticipation as our good friends Marc and Deniece are only days from the birth of their first born.

Don't Talk to Lifeguards

During my recent work roadtrip to Creston, BC (home of Kokanee and Bountiful), I discovered this funny sign attached to the fence surrounding the local pool; I love the idea that the public must not speak to the caged lifeguards...I suspect you are not permitted to feed them either.
